Martha Wade
Martha Wade is a painter, muralist, and graphic designer. Originally from southern Indiana, she grew up in an arts oriented family and began drawing and painting at a young age. She attended Oberlin College, and was particularly influenced by a semester spent in the Danenburg Oberlin in London program, which featured an intensive study of English and theatre. She graduated with a BA in Theatre in 1985. Her subsequent work as a painter and muralist has been deeply informed by this passion for story and performance. Past influential teachers have included Lyndall Bass and Philip Buller.
